War Eagle
Let me just say, as a truly non-college football fan, that was a heck of a game. As I sat alone with the high-def, I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Sat. night. Sorry FSU, you all had an awesome win too but it just wasn't quite as exciting as the Auburn-UF game. God Bless football.

Hey Rory! I thought Auburn sucked?!
The FSU game was about as boring as football gets. I actually fell asleep on the couch and woke up and it was still 0-0.
As far as the Auburn game is concerned, congrats to all AU fans. Their team played with *heart* blocking and tackling like MEN. I thought I was watching a high-school team the first half. Our youth at secondary really showed. Are we completely unable to play man and so we have to stick with zone no matter how many yards we give up? And on the ground, I was going to kill somebody if they ran through one more wimpy arm-tackle.
I don't know if everyone saw the interesting stat the put up after the game... it mentioned our record against Auburn 0-2, our record against everybody else 17-0.
Way to man up, congrats...
I gotta hand it to Auburn, they played a helluva game. The Gators are gunna have some trouble this year if they can't figure out the cover 2 defense. Also our secondary is just sad. At least we managed to make it respectable, it could have been much worse with the way we were playing.
That was the worst first half of Gator football that I've seen. I swore Zook was coaching the offense for a second there.

Awesome win Alex that was fantastic. The 2nd half of the FSU game was awesome actually. We could have something going here, we finally got the right QB in there.

Damn you, a positive note for UF though beating LSU next weekend pretty much erases your loss this weekend. So many damn people lost it was amazing.

Couple things...
1. Go NOLES and Go XLEE! So nice to have a dynamic qb!
2. WAR EAGLE! Way to man up and show the world that Tim Tebow is not, in fact, the Lord Savior Jesus Christ. The Gators will now drop two in a row and all chances of a repeat will be lost.
3. Go BULLS! I think us FL boys might have something other to worry about than each other. Nice to see a program on the rise and win big.
So to sum up...fuck Bama and Nick Saban, fuck the Gators and Tim Tebow, fuck WV.

Tim Tebow is still the man...less you forget its only his 4th start. And he was basically the reason we came back and almost won. He still threw for over 200 yards and a TD, and ran for 75 and a TD as well.
blah blah blah "almost" only counts in horseshoes and hand-grenades:)
Ok, I have tried to bite my tongue but I can't anymore.
All I heard before the game was Auburn has "no chance"..."it will be embarassing"..."this will be a blowout." So much for the so-called experts.
However, most nondelusional Gator fans (Rory not included) figured it would be a close game. Thank you Jae and Chris for giving Auburn some credit for a well earned victory.
I would also like to point out that Auburn had a tough start this year. I have no excuse for the loss to Miss. State, but we won against the team that just destroyed Texas and lost in OT to the current #6 ranked USF Bulls.
Auburn should have won those games, but these teams appear to be better than anyone anticipated.

Alex you will never get any gratification from Rory. I have learned through years of bantering. The Gates could lose out and he would still find a way to talk shit and bother you. It is actually quite the amazing quality.
And lets be honest you could not pay me a million dollars to believe these polls. USF and Kentucky top 10 teams...blow me.
USF is good but I still do not think they are #6, but Kentucky may be for real. Their QB is very good and does it with less talent around him than Rory's man crush. I have my doubts about Kentucky's defense but their offense sure can score alot of points. UK vs. UF could be a very high scoring game which should be fun to watch.
The rankings seem far fetched but considering the preseason rankings went to hell, who else would they put there?
By the way, I am not mad...I just think my team deserves credit for pulling out a big road win rather than hearing that UF just played poorly from the media. Rory, I was mostly trying to get at you for continuing with "Auburn sucks" after your team lost to them. War Damn Eagle!

Alex, at least you have loyalty and went to grad school at Auburn. Unlike someone who sold out to his rival team's school....

You seem to have forgotten that I said "Closer than the experts think" before the game. I knew it was going to be a close one! Anyway, we lost to AU last year and still pulled off the National Championship!! Hope we can do it twice.
