Tebow should be considered for the Heisman while he is at Florida if he continues put up big numbers. I think it is a bit too soon, but the season is young. I also think Percy Harvin might be more deserving right now. However, the best Heisman candidate this year is Darren McFadden! Too bad Houston Nutt had to piss away the win.
Thanks for the support, Nick. FSU vs. the rednecks should be a good game. I have already given up on this season. I just want to play the underclassmen and get them ready for next year when we might be able to compete again.
i don't know about the rest of you good ol' boys, but i think the sec is having an off season.
our typical power-houses have fallen off and while we still represent (i count 6 in the top 25), the sec matches i have watched have left me unimpressed.
i am throwing our secondary in there w/ that... granted there's plenty of football left to play.
I agree Jae. The SEC seems to be down this year, and I am not just trying to make myself feel better as a frustrated Auburn fan. LSU looks like the Western Champs already and I am standing by what I told some folks to start the season...South Carolina could win the East! I know you Gator fans remember how close Spurrier came to beating y'all last year and I think they might be better this year.
Anyway, the season is still very, very young, but this year could be a fun one in the SEC.

Tennessee should be unranked for awhile hopefully. They have got absolutely destroyed by two ranked teams. I am not taking away from what UF did, but they clearly are not that good. Well the SEC has LSU, UF who are damn good. Bama, Georgia and SC who appear to be legit. Maybe even Kentucky.
Just wait till FSU lays the smack down on that punk bitch Saban.
OK, admittingly, when I started this topic I did it for some fun. But I just checked both ESPN and Sport Illustrated, and both had Tebow in the Heisman race at 3rd and 2nd, respectiviely. Now I know it waaaaay too early to predict who the Heisman is going to be, but it is quite a feat to be in discussion for it after only 3 starts.
Not as much as I used to, but when he beats a for real top 25 team then I will be a true believer. I do not hate anymore though. Which is all about you can ask for me right now.
