If I were the Magic, I would first stick it to Billy and enforce any clause in the contraction that would apply in this situation. Teams always get the raw end of the deal in these situations. I would also be pissed if I was one of the 200+ people who bought season tickets after the announcement, can you say "Class Action." Rory get in on this, make a quick buck.
This is funny! I might have to start referring Donovan as Flipper. He is acting like Saban and that is probably one of the worst things I could say about anyone.
You see all see it the way you want...I see it as a man who, though tempted by money at first, ultimately followed his heart. He realized how good it is to be a Gator. Boo yah.
Acting like Saban? Every Gator knew that if he was offered an NBA job he might take it. He never lied about that. We just knew he would never go to another college team.
Yeah, I know it is not the same situation as Saban. I just hate Saban, Bama, and everything they stand for! I was hoping to reflect that in my post, but I think that this will clear things up.

Dishonoring Billy:
1. Signs 7yr extension with UF (supposedly a done deal, brings joy to the UF world)
2. Bails on UF for the lure of the NBA (breaks UF's heart out of nowhere).
3. Bails on the NBA to come crawling back to UF (breaks magic fans hearts).
A great coach he may be, a man of his word he is not.
