Christina and I got engaged on Saturday! I proposed on the secluded north end of Whitney Beach on Longboat Key (that's one of the uprooted trees behind us in the pictures). Yesterday we had both families over for a Father's Day dinner / mini-announcement party. Expect a date around Fall 2008!

Eric, nicely done. I have many a fond memory of Whitney Beach. Just be sure to invite Nick's sister to the wedding so I can get drunk and hit on her like I did at Jae and Jenny's.

Eric, Congratulations, I am super stoked for you. I must admit I know who will be the next person to get engaged on this blog and it sure as hell is not me. Although I did hear a rumor about Nick and Rory moving to MA for a little civil union, hooray for the Full Faith and Credit Clause!!!!

Hey, fuck you, buddy! The Canadian government has apologized for Bryan Adams on several occasions. Nick, you better make a stop to Boston this summer, so I can make you suffer with booze.
I will make no comment until the end of the summer, if you guys get my drift. My girlfriend is getting to Boston tomorrow, and I am very excited. It will be a good few months we get to spend together and I encourage all others to come visit.
Hey you know me, I always have a great time when I come to Boston. It may have to be the end of summer though. Have you moved to your new place yet?

You are welcome at any time. I'll be in Europe sometime in mid to late August, but other than that I will be here awaiting guests. Bryan, that would be awesome if you could make it up. I am moving into the new place in September. Actually if anyone wants to come up for July Fourth (I know it is kind of soon), we can sit on my roof and watch the fireworks that will be blowing up basically right over our heads.
