I couldn't help but laugh at this article, mainly because I'm pretty sure I've heard these exact words come out of the mouths of several of you. It's a cautionary tale though... clearly not meant to be said in a public forum.

Yeah if you saw all the bums in Boston, you'd agree with the guy. Notice I don't use the word "homeless" also. Just because you have a home doesn't mean you aren't a bum.
Considering people that receive government "assistance" can get more money by having more kids, I think his comments make a lot of sense.
He could have put his opinion more tactfully. However, I don't think the leftists should be too offended considering Obama's science "czar" favors population control and compulsory abortion. He also has discussed the idea of compulsory marriage or abortions for single pregnant women.
Andre Bauer is a bit of a nut. Was not ready for primetime and has been thrown to the wolves. That being said, he basically said the old adage about giving a man a fish versus teaching a man to fish.
