Memorial Day Weekend

I wasn't sure if anybody would want to get together or meet up somewhere for the weekend? I will have May 30th through June 2nd off from work and I could travel on the night of May 29th if needed.

I don't mind traveling, and I figured that it could be a good opportunity for some of us to get together since I haven't seen most of you in awhile.

I know it is somewhat short notice but I thought I would throw it out there. So, let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas.

It is a good idea but I will be at the Indianapolis 500 this year during that time. Oh yea....baby.

There is always an available room at the Fasoli Bed and Breakfast. It would be awesome to see you if you're interested in a trip to Boston. I have some stuff going on, but nothing that is super important as of yet. Let me know if you are interested and I can book your reservations before they fill.

You know Alex, that sounds like a good idea...I could use a small vay-cay. Knowing my industry...I should have a 1/2 day that Friday and Monday off...but I will let you know.

We will be at the beach in Tampa for the 22nd - 26th. Enjoying the nice weather. I think we may rent a boat to go fishing. I also like swimming in water that doesn't make my skin tingle. Anyone who wants to see the price on the environment offshore drilling has just come visit Louisiana.

We should all go on a "fishing" trip with Logan to the Bahamas!

I wish, fuel costs too much!

I would say anyone is welcome to visit me in DC, but my studio apartment is cramped with just me. Obviously if you want to visit, give me a heads up and I will try to see if I can get some good baseball tickets. The new stadium here is beyond nice, one of the nicest I have been too, and we only average like 15000 at the games, they say attendance is like 25,000 but that includes all the season ticket holders who do not show up.

I see how it is. Try to bribe Alex with baseball tickets. Well if you come to Boston, you can sleep in a bed and maybe even my gay neighbors could give you a little lovin' too. With that said, I'll see you on the 30th.

You are all welcome to visit us in Tucson anytime....we've got lots of authentic Mexican food here ;-)

I like this Alex...people are starting to compete for our vacation. haha

There is no competition, I am offering free museums and memorials, sleeping on the floor, baseball tickets that have a face value of like $75-$100, and going out and hanging with elitist southerners who think they are awesome because they are an Legislative Assistant on the hill.

Alex knows what happens when he comes to visit me. I don't even have to remind him. Oh and by the way, we have temperpedic mattresses in my house.

ps. No gay neighbors either.

Adam what was that name of the gay bar by your place again? I remember it being pretty clever.

Adam said...

It has no name. It just has a giant stone eagle above the door, so it is colloquially called the Eagle Bar.

Nick, when are you coming to Boston next? I am definitely coming to NYC the first weekend of August. Allie's friend who is getting married is having a bachelorette party earlier so I might go on the bus with Allie and come visit you earlier in the summer too. Details to follow.

Ah the Eagle Bar that's right.

I do not have another Boston trip planned as of yet. I am going on a vacation in late June for a week and then J visits July 4th I believe. Other then that my summer is open so a weekend trip to Boston will happen at some point I am sure.

I will mental note for early August, that would be awesome if you squeeze in two trips this summer.

I guess everyone realized that I got the days wrong for Memorial Day weekend. The days I meant to post are May 23 to May 26.

My trips this summer are not as interesting, because I have no time off and I will be scrounging to get to go out of town for 2 weekends. In June, I am going to NYC for a Bachelor party, it is looking that I will likely be staying in NJ and commuting in. And in July sometime I will be heading to Binghamton for a wedding.

Yes Alex we realized you never took the time to read a calendar in Vet school.

BrewSack, whenever you get more info let me know so we can try to get together at some point.
