Donovan = Show me the money
Wow now tell me that is not one of the biggest F jobs I have ever seen. Donovan just did UF over nasty. Better hope all these recruits he got do not jump ship. Well your AD is going to have to use his skills now to find a replacement because most of the other spots have been filled. Wow I thought he signed a 7yr extension with UF. Whats the consesus pissed off or happy for him??

I've thought it over. Billy D brought UF basketball from nothing to THE premier team in college basketball the last few years. So he earned the money the magic are paying him. Good for him, it's a great move money wise and he can keep his family in Gainesville so his kids don't have to change schools. Let just hope he can do a good job in the big league.
If I were a Gator fan, I would probably be pissed off right now. However, I also think I would get over it pretty quick. UF fans should be happy for him, since he set the standard for what UF basketball is now.
Maybe Donovan can Change the Magic from the Shitty team they are into a contender... but I dont hold high expectations for the Magic.
I'm not mad at all, even though it sucks. I don't blame Billy...its the NBA and they are giving him a ton of money. I don't think his extension deal was ever finalized or signed.
Yea word has it that the deal was just waiting to get approved by the AD, so its not like he jumped ship on a contract. At least he is a good guy not a prick like spurrier so even though he did leave you guys high and dry i would be grateful for what he did. Not many guys make the jump from colllege to pro very well lets hope he can do it.

Can't wait to see who the Gators get. Word is they are talking to the VCU coach Anthony Grant (former assistant under Billy D). Thought they might try to get someone a little more high profile.
It is pretty late in the process though to get a headcoach. It would not be bad to get a former assistant. Assuming he shares the same beliefs as Billy you would think all the recruits would fit into his coaching "scheme" which would be good.
Can the new recruits jump ship if the coach leaves that signed them?? I would think not because they committed to the school not the coach but still I always wondered about that if anybody knows.
Yeah Nick they can jump if they want to, you are allowed to transfer with no penalty if your coach leaves.
