Hello?

All that college football action and nobody has posted!? Man, you gators (mostly Rory) sure have gotten quiet all of a sudden! Here is a rundown from this last weekend, if you missed it...

1. FSU won - 4-1, ranked 21
2. Gators lost - 4-2, ranked 12, lost like I said they would, championship = bye bye birdie
3. USC lost, I knew this would happen eventually because they are overrated...just didn't think it would happen against Stanford...even sweeter.
4. ND won, didn't think that would happen for awhile, figured they would be 0-8
5. BC is undefeated and represents the only ACC team in the top 10. They have a cake schedule the next couple, but I don't look forward to playing them.
6. Tennessee DESTROYED UGA...didn't see that coming either.
7. USF continues to roll

Discuss bitches.

No mention of Auburn? Bryan, I'm hurt.

Another good weekend of college football, except, after Auburn beats UF in Gainesville and then kills Vandy at home, Auburn barely makes it back into the polls. Bama jumped to #16 in the polls after beating Vandy, so why no respect for AU. I know the loss to Miss. St. looks horrible but give a team credit for losing in OT against the current #5 team in the nation.

I guess I should get off my soap box and continue to cheer for a team that never gets credit from the voters.

Got to love how UF is still ranked so high, but I guess with all of those quality wins they have...(oh thats right).

You have to remember Alex you have two losses, the climb will be a bit slower.

Watch out for them Noles baby, our Offense is starting to look legit now that we have XLEE at Q. And the D is looking good as always. Not counting wake out though on Thursday, they always cause us headaches.

FSU 4 game winning streak
UF 2 game losing streak

Go Bulls, woot woot. (I assume it's okay to jump on the bandwagon if you go there, yes?) At any rate I'll always be a Nole first and foremost, and I'm basking in the 4 straight coming out of a less than brilliant opener. In the words of my dear friend and fellow Nole-turned-Bull Tracy, "Noles rule, but I go to USF now." HAHA!

I'm not quiet, just have been on the computer cause I was in Bradenton. The Gators played amazing on Saturday night and could have definitely won that game. I still have faith. Hopefully we will get another shot in the SEC championship game. And you never know...looking at the polls there could likely be a lot of teams in the top 10 getting knocked off by losing another game.

btw, where are FSU's quality wins Nick? Alabama? They aren't ranked now...Tennessee is. Just curious ;)

FYI Tennessee is not ranked, the AP poll does not matter. I have no idea how Tennessee is even that high, but neutral site win over Bama and at Colorado certainly count for us. Remember OU lost to colorado.

And that is also why we are 21 and not ranked 14th after two consecutive losses.

And do not forget that Colgate beat Bucknell. We might not win the Patriot League, but we are going to give Lehigh and Holy Cross some fits. Go Red Raiders

Ahhhh...like a match to the fire. I knew you guys only needed a nudge. haha.

PS...Sorry Al...at the time I wrote that, I had forgot who AU played.

Its obvious the voters actually watched the UF v LSU game. We played a really good game but had two unfortunate turnovers which you can't do against a team as good as LSU. They made us pay for the mistakes and won the game only by 4 points at home in a place where they are undefeated at night.

So that would be why we only dropped to 13. Plus all the other losses in the top ten (read: I hate USC with every fiber of my being) helped as well.

Let's hear it for the second ranked team in Florida, haha! Go gators.
