National Champs!
If there was any confusion on what constituted a beat-down from a previous post, the game last night clarified that issue. OSU average yards per game: 410; OSU yards last night: 82. Troy Smith: 4-14, 35 yards, and a beating c/o our defensive line. The gameplan was perfect, getting rid of the ball quickly and getting it to our playmakers in front of OSU's weak zone they played the whole game, in turn not stressing Leak enough to make bad plays. The 41-14 victory was the 3rd most lopsided in championship game history, behind only UF's 1996 championship and some game in the 70's. And to top it all off, we're the only University to ever hold the men's basketball and football titles in the same year, quite an accomplishment by Gator athletics.

Ah screw it I cant do it, that was domination...I am just wondering why the hell they never dropped out of that 3-4 zone (give florida 5-10yds everyplay) that they were playing. Hell of a time to play your best game of the year. That was a sick as shit defensive performance.

Yeah, that defensive gameplan of OSU was pathetic, but UF clearly was the better team last night. Considering that USC had to lose for UF to get there, I think it is yet another example of the need for a playoff.
I am just glad that I can say that Auburn beat the national champions!

It just briefly snowed up here for like 30 min. I stared out the window like the typical floridian I am. It was cool. But this weekend its getting back up to mid 50's again.
The only way to compare two teams accurately is for them to play each other. So Rory, in this year's comparison...you lose!

Everyone remembers the National Champs, no one remembers who beat them.
Well every UF fan will remember, every Auburn fan will remember. And probably a good majority of the SEC and other southern schools will remember. And more importantly 99.9% of this blog will remember.

Listen, we just won the National Championship with authority. So quit with the bullshit of "at least we beat you." Sounds like something a sore loser would say. Without looking it up online can any of you tell me who beat Florida in baseketball last year? I can't remember but I know we had like 6 loses...see it doesnt matter!

Hahaha! I appreciate the support Nick. I only posted that because I knew that Rory would get defensive, and I thought it would provide a good entertaining argument.
I am sure we can find something else to argue about, but we need to include everyone because we are apparently the only three people who care about football right now.
