I don't think I have any free weekends in October unfortunately. You should go ahead and pick a date and I will come if possible but I don't think that my instructors will let me off.
Ditto, except I don't have any instructors, I just don't have the money. No job= No money. Of course I could hit a jackpot there and never have to work a day in my life!
Yeah, that'll be rough, I'm imagining a weekend trip to end up somewhere around $400-$500. You wouldn't happen to be flying us out there, eh, moneybags? Seriously though, my weekends are fine, I'll have to see what I can work out as far as getting there.
Vegas! As of now I'm good any weekend in October (I should hopefully have started grad school by then, and hopefully that doesn't interfere) and the same goes for Shane.
Hey do a carwash to raise the money, charities include stop drunk driving buy our plane tickets, or the united Jae college fund putting strippers through school since 2006, I am in Jae just set a date and me and the old lady, who at this time says I best put that she is the youngest one, are in. Vegas Baby!Vegas! You're so money and you don't even know it!
I would love to go but I don't know whta I am doing a week from now, let alone a few months from now. I go with Alex's suggestion of just picking a date and people can work around it. My older sister is living there now and her and her husband both work for harrah's. Maybe she can hook you up with a good hotel deal or something...
We do need a date ASAP though, cheap tickets or package deals take planning and purchasing in advance. A quick check on travelocity has produced a round trip ticket and weekend hotel stay (@ HoJo) for $430. Packages with real vegas hotels range from ~$525 to the $800's. Also, are we planning for the same hotel? Same flights? Otherwise, this will be quite the clusterfuck. Hopefully Adam can pull something off. And yes, I have a job, but I also have quite a few bills to pay, so get off my back about that.
I say same hotel for sure. As far as flights go that would obviously be tough, but it is usually cheaper for me to fly out of Tampa than fly out of Jax...but I haven't looked yet. Orlando is a good choice too. Three of us flew out of Orlando for the Detoit Super Bowl, and it was seriously half the price of flying out of Jax. Orlando would be a nice meeting point for the majority of us too if we decided to take the same flight.
Just a little heads up....hookers are NOT legal. Last time I was there, we asked a cop about it. :) Also, you will want to stay on the strip so you can walk to everything and not have to worry about taking cabs.
What is everyone opinion on which days to stay? Possibilities include leaving after work Fri, arriving vegas fri night. staying fri-sat-leave sunday. another could be taking a flight that arrives in vegas sat morning early, staying sat & sun night and leaving late monday (taking a day off).
We want to know what everyones opinions are? If you have a better idea be sure to mention it.

I won't be able to go. I'm in the same boat as Beal, no job = no money.
Adam, can you see if your sister can hook us up w/ a deal? Pull your little-brother strings man, we're all counting on you :)!
Don't have time for a job.

my plan has backfired, i was hoping most of the weekends would be ruled out and the choice would be easy, damnit.
i'll talk to jenny after i get off work and we'll pick a weekend and post it tonight.
this will allow people to book flights, we'll wait to hear back from adam regarding rooms.

After reading my "f'n bum" comment I realized that sounded kind of mean, even though it was meant as a joke. All I ask is for your forgivness.

We looking into Bally's, they are usually more reasonable and very centrally located on the strip. They are also associated w/ Harrah's.
Adam emailed his sister but I have not heard anything back from her.
