Granted, none of us will ever be in Urban's position, so we will never understand what is going on in his mind. But if you are a potential recruit to UF, committing to the program could be difficult since who will coach next year is totally up in the air. Also, how do you think his family feels?
To me it sounds like Urban made the announcement before 'clearing' it with the university. The university flipped out and made him change the wording to prevent the inevitable 'jumping ship' by recruits.

Very surprising! I wonder what the health concerns are about. I hope he is alright. I don't like him much but do not wish him ill.
By the way, what SEC team is Meyer 0-2 against? (I know almost all of you just rolled your eyes, but I love to hear the response.)

Looks like it was a fake out. It makes you wonder how serious his health problems are. He clearly plans on being around next year. Breathe easy guys.
