Urban Meyer has to bench him for the Championship game. Anything less will be unacceptable. They found the dude asleep behind wheel of a car and refused to take a breathalyzer. I am fairly certain it is illegal to refuse a breathalyzer, Rory si that true?

Here's a link to the story.

Will comment after I get a chance to read it.

if i were urban, dunlap would be staying in gainesville next weekend. sure it hurts the team but anything else would be rewarding dunlaps irresponsible behavior.

Losing Dunlap would really hurt UF, but the guy should miss the game.

This is bad news since UF needs to beat the hell out of the toothless, meth lab running, inbred bastards.

no doubt it would hurt the team and i feel bad for everyone else on the team but there is only one person to blame and he wears number 8

Agreed totally. This guy is on track to be a first round pick and he does something like this before the biggest game of the year. What a shitty teammate.

Dummy

Shitty teammate? No...he's a 20 year who made a stupid mistake and now he has to suffer the consequences. He'll definitely be missed this weekend.

Yes, shitty teammate, since he is hurting his team. It will have very little effect on a future NFL millionaire, but he will hurt his teammates chances of winning a conference title.

I bet if they win without him then he still gets a ring, but no one gets one if they lose.

Rory is just trying to defend his Facebook friend. ;)

"Meyer suspended Dunlap indefinitely." [L]

Good for Urban. I am sure he learned his lesson for only suspending Brandon Spikes for the first half of the Vandy game. And yes I know he eventually moved it to a full game, but what you do first is what you should be judged on, not what you do after you are shamed.

Jae said...

From what I heard Spikes made the suspension a full game not Urban.

Alex,

Yes, he is hurting his team and I pretty sure he feels bad and that he's letting his team down for the SEC Championship game. You make it sound like he's sitting at home saying "I don't give shit, I'll be making millions soon. Fuck my team."

That said, I'm not defending him. He's an idiot for what he did. Especially out drinking during the week of the SEC Championship game. However, I'm sure he feels bad for his team.

Well, I don't think he is sitting at home saying screw them, and never meant to put it that way.

However, a 20 year old starting defensive end that goes out gets completely hammered and gets behind the wheel the week of the SEC title game is a bad teammate.

He may not have meant to screw over his team, but he did.
