Arcade Update

I have built a prototype controller with what will eventually be Player 3's controls (joystick, 4 buttons, coin button, start button), and I have proven to myself that I am fully capable of constructing and wiring a functional controller. I would post pics, but the monitor on my computer just died in an unrelated incident and I don't feel like installing camera stuff elsewhere. The next steps will be to order the rest of the controls, buy the wood, and start the project for real. I'll have to postpone all that for the time being since Christina just got hired in Sarasota and we are looking to get into an apartment ASAP. I'll keep everyone updated on that situation, and you'll definitely get pictures on move-in day.

She will be working for the Department of Children and Families, approving federal aid for people in need, sometimes by interview. She's a govenment agent!

So where do you even get parts like that Eric? I mean the joystick and coin button...

All the parts I have and will be getting are coming from http://www.happcontrols.com. If you want to browse around click the PC Arcade link on the left. I will be ordering everything else that I need in one order when I am ready b/c they charge practically the same amount for shipping no matter what you buy.

what are your thoughts on my recommendation to sell them for a couple grand a piece? take custom orders w/ a deposit that covers parts.
