We took a day-trip to Tombstone (yes, that Tombstone)

The town is historically preserved, any attempts to "old-west up the place" were squashed by the historical preservation society:

Drove up to Mt. Lemmon, they have some vista's on the way up, the following are some shots from a vista
The top ends in a ski-town (Ski-Valley), it is 30 degrees cooler at the top than in Tucson (~65)
They had the lift running so we took a ride to the top
Mom opted out :)
They had a bad fire 3 years ago that burned 76,000 acres (don't quote me on that)

A few things:
1. The family looks great! Please tell them all I say hello. My parents and brother are going to be here in Chicago for Mandy's graduation this weekend, so seeing you with your fam has got me excited.
2. Arizona is too god damn hot. I am never going south of pennsylvannia.
3. That turtle must be half black or something.
4. If I ever became president, I would spend whatever money it takes to get grass in the desert. It is way too brown.
Just looking at the pics made me sweat...it looks too hot for me out there.
