Osama is dead!

By now, I'm sure all you folks have heard the wonderful news. I got a text from my sister late last night stating, and I quote, "Obama is dead!" Sensing that tragedy has stuck our nation again, I quickly turned on the TV and my sister's typo was corrected by the good fellas at FoxNews.

Big day. I was about to go to bed when the news came in, so I got dressed and went across the street and did a shot with some friends to celebrate. Very odd experience but still a good time.

I was at home w/ the little man when Jared called to share the news. I have mixed emotions of elation (justice for the families affected by 9/11, mission successful for the seals that risked their lives and the ones who have been killed in this war) and fear (of reprisals in the short-term by Al Qaeda).

rory, your sister owes you an apology :).

Sad to say I did not find out until I turned on Sportcenter in the morning and I saw a highlight of people cheering at a baseball game. Like I always said if it is really important ESPN will cover it.

Very happy that this has finally been concluded. Hopefully they can gain some more information to help keeping America safe.

PS Also, when I found out how he was living in Pakistan you can't but help wonder what the hell Pakistan was doing or not doing.
