So I traded in the Chevrolet Colorado that Jae had originally owned and I inherited. So to upgrade the whip mode, I purchased a 2004 BMW 745i w/ V8 and 80,000 miles. Got a Great 5 year warranty and I am loving having a massager in my reclining driving seat.

I must say I'm impressed as well as a little confused since I'm not even sure if you're working and/or still in school. Update us in a month with how bad that 8 year old V8 is hitting you in the wallet!
great pics jared. we skyped my mom this weekend and got to see jared sitting in the driver's seat. he looked down-right tiny. that thing is a beast. can't wait to do a ride-along.
eric, looking at fueleconomy.gov the bmw actually gets better gas mileage than the chevy. i don't know if that should be a good job bmw or bad job chevy. probably a little of both.
Wow I am borderline speechless. That car looks to be in pretty good condition still. What kind of HP you getting out of a well made Bavaurian V8??
Jared is definitely in school still just starting his Junior year. So something I would say to you Jared since I am assuming your parents helped is...well done.
J isn't it interesting how our younger siblings get to roll around in college in practically nicer cars then we drive now??
no "practically" about it, i'm rollin' an 11-year old hand-me-down civic. the used luxury car market is the way to go. lots of low-mileage lease turn-ins. i gotta give jared lots of credit, he put in lots of leg work finding this car. if the wheels ever fall off the civic that'll be the way i go.
I'm Still at FSU (Go Noles) doing creative writing and geography. The engine is great on the highway, in top gear i was cruise controlled at 79 mph and got 28 mpg from bradenton to tallahassee on average. We purchased a warranty for all the actuators and the electric system as well as the power train and rims/tires. 3 years or 36,000 miles. The only problem i have been having is in town on the hills in Tallahassee the transmission failsafe kicks in and reduces the acceleration to 50 mph. It kicks in after the 3 gear A.K.A. the passing gear, which makes the 5,000 pound monster jump a slight bit then lock into 4th gear. But i simple press the I-control knob on the center console and the failsafe measures are disengaged.
Other than that I basically baby it like i'm riding on glass rims. slow and steady.
Shout out Nick,
You still the greatest, Rory sucks d.
Shout out Jae,
The civic is clean I don't care what they say about it.

Awesome car! I am shocked at the fuel economy though. My V6 only gets 18/22 and it is pretty efficient. I still can't imagine you looking tiny in any car!
Where'd you get it with that warranty?
Looks good Jared you the man, keep up the good work.
Rory burned....
The warranty was from a 3rd party company, offered to us by the Mastro subaru that we purchased the vehicle from.
