It is sort of unfair to compare religion using the lens of science. Contrarily, it is similar to when people say that evolution doesn't exist because the Bible doesn't talk about it. Science is simply the new religion and it is equally as fallible as any other belief system. For example, are eggs good for you or bad for you? It seems the "science" changes all the time.
definitely agree its not really fair. But life has to have purpose and part of feeling like you have purpose is to, have strong faith in what you believe. I think i would choose the one with the most substantiated evidence, which in my opinion by far is science.
By definition, faith is a belief or set of beliefs that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. That's why you "believe", rather than "know". I have a very scientific mind, but for my own sanity I keep my learning ventures separate from my faith. When you look at certain events from a historical prospective there's not much you can do but choose your own stance.
