gators start slow and cause me to scream at my television repeatedly. they make the adjustments at the half and come out on top 28-10.

not too shabby, our defense looked solid as always and i like the shape our offense is taking. seems we are starting to find an identity. granted TN is far from what it used to be, but i thought we played a solid game. how about the fake punt? meyer has some big brass ones.

This surprised me:

"Two games into this season, FSU fans haven't come within 14,000 of filling 82,300-capacity Doak Campbell Stadium. On Saturday the crowd was announced at 68,795, looked more like 60,000, and was half-capacity at best for the fourth quarter."

I'd like to think that even if the Gators took a 5-year hiatus from awesomeness that we'd still be able to fill the Swamp.

Well I would have liked to see us play better against OU, but that is Ok. If we can be 4-1 heading into Miami I will be very happy (and we should be). Two more games for our defense to continue to improve. Ponder is not going to have nearly the type of year we originally thought.

Gators have one more game to improve until they start playing some tough competition. It is has been a fun college football season so far.

Yea I mean what do you expect we have had 5 yrs of barely competitive football. I was at yesterday's game and it was not nearly has bad as that article made it seem. Also, got to remember FSU fans have to travel further from all "major" cities in FL than UF fans do. I wonder if UF sold out during the end of the zook era??

No excuses though people should show up.

the average attendance in zook's last year was the 6th highest of all seasons link

Very impressive actually. Well here is my feeling if it does not get better as the year goes on then I will be pretty embarrassed.

Next week we will do some predictions on how our teams will fair.

I agree with Nick...the stadium didn't nearly look as bad as the numbers would lead people to believe. Of course I would love to fill the place to capacity every game...but let's be honest here: people don't want to travel far and spend a bunch of money (that most people don't have right now) to watch a mediocre team. We have to win to put asses in the seats. Unfortunate, but true.
