Ellen Show
Jenny and I spent 8 hours Wednesday at the taping of the "Ellen in the Park" show that will air this coming Monday. Any of you that will be free when the show airs better watch and tape it since we won't be able to watch it and can't tape.
This has been the second show that we've gone to and so far we have been twice disappointed (the other being King of Queens). There seems to be a similar caliber employee that works these shows who gets extreme enjoyment out of controlling a large number of people (minus Jenny and I) who are willing to cut each others' throats to get close to a "celebrity".
Being confined to be near these people for 8 hours was enough to push me to mass-homicide. To cap it all off, I didn't get any of the free Johnsonville brats and fries because when we got off of the bus we were herded into a "holding area" (read: a pig pen) and the tard who was running the holding area said there was not enough time. This guy has just stepped in between me and free brats and has just become the luckiest person alive for still having all his fingers.
I am done with these shows. I was expecting that Ellen would give out something cool like she normally does. All we got was a stupid XL tshirt that I snatched out of the air before this lady in front of me (who already had two of the same, what was she making a raft and needed a sail?) could get her grubby mits on them.
I still vote for burning down Hollywood,
Jae

Let me know what you think.
As all of you know I have been very sick for sometime now. I am actually getting well enough to get a job now!! I have an opportunity and want to know what all of you think about it. I would be running the online version of Gulfstream Marine. http://www.gulfstream-marine.com Obivously I wouldn't be dealing with the creation of the site or anything but I would start out taking the online orders, billing, packing and sending the stuff people order. This doesn't seem like much and it isn't but I feel this company has huge potential. The guy who runs it now is taking off in Feb 07 and going to need someone to take over the whole operations. The company opened up Feb 5 this year and has already doubled in size and that is without even having an online store. Anyway, I would start out on the bottom but have the potential to run the whole thing in 5 months! I didn't think much of it but Bass Pro shops, Worldwide sportsman, even walmart had to start somewhere.
Oh, btw, the store is in Deland so I would live in either Daytona (20 min drive) or Maitland/Winterpark (30-40 mins)
You all know me....lets hear it, pros and cons!

www.zillow.com

For those of you, i.e. Jenny and I, that may be looking into real estate in the near future, this is a really great website built on top of google maps that allows you to do endless research into the properties in your area of interest.
Even if you are not in the same boat as us, take a look at your parents, neighbors, friends, Tom Cruise's houses...
Come back football
I went on gatorzone today and watched some clips of the bowl game win. It wasn't enough to quench my thirst though. When is footbal coming back? All that's on now is baseball, who gives a shit about baseball ;-).
At least world cup is this year.

A little something I found on the Internet....after looking at porn of course.
So I saw this online and thought you all might think its interesting, I don't know how true it is but here it is anyway:
Do the following facts reflect the NBA or NFL?
36 have been accused of spousal abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
19 have been accused of writing bad checks
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 currently are defendants in lawsuits,
and 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year
Well? Which is it? The NBA or NFL?
Neither, it's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Portend

A screenshot from the Oxford English Dictionary, showing that there is more than one definition for portend. Also, I believe that this makes using portend to mean "pretend" is also accurate, although it is not the most commonly used definition for the word. I think we should be seeing some extra points for Adam and Brian, too.
Word of the day
In retaliation for Jae's use of slang, unofficial dictionaries that lack complete definitions, I have decided to begin posting my own word/phrase of the day. Instead of having a completely different word each day, I will attempt to expand your vocabulary by posting a new synonym each day. This synonym of the day will be equally as colloquial and far more interesting. Feel free to try to use the word in a sentence (if you are man/woman enough) or post another synonym that you like. Points will be awarded for originality and to those sentences that make fun of Jae. =) Here goes nothing:
Word #1:
"salami garage"

Christina's Graduation

Hey all,
Thought I'd let you all know that Christina graduated from USF on Saturday! More pics are on my blog (there is a link on this page) for those that are interested.
Risk redemption...
We broke out Risk again since I had sufficiently cooled off. This time we had the opposite results, I was the one-stop-shop for 5s and 6s and Jenny couldn't catch a break. Needless to say we didn't get the game finished since Jenny reached boiling point and messed up all the pieces. The Risk designers have created a game that nobody can finish because one person always gets too pissed off, it's great.
Maybe next time one of us will reach world domination, but I doubt it.
