Is there anybody out there? If anyone wants to look at the progress of my house, check out my youtube. If you search my name with no spaces, you should find it with no difficulty.

Good stuff man. How much longer are they estimating until it is done? Sorry if it was said I am at work and did not watch with sound.

Yesterday I was laying in the backyard catching some rays and you guys are walking around in scarfs and beanies. Pretty funny.

They are supposed to be done before June! They are definitely moving along quickly so hopefully it ends up being that fast. Yeah, it was 80 up here last week and today it is snowing. I really thought we were done with winter.

Looking good! The demo videos were giving me heartburn with all that mess but it looks like you've got a good contractor since they are making such progress. Can't wait to see the finished product!

On a weather note, it snowed here last Monday, then we hit 88 on Saturday.

ya, the blog participation has been pretty abysmal lately. I know I have been just too busy. I used to get a few spare minutes to check it at work during lunch, but work has been crazy lately. And by the time Braden goes to bed I'm pretty much wiped.

really great vids adam. what's the r value on that foam insulation? did you know that chimney was there when you bought the place or did you find it while planning the remodel?

I don't know what the number is but they said it was about twice as much as the normal stuff. It is about 3 times the cost but it also seals the house really well so there is no air infiltration. The chimney we knew was there because it went all the way to the basement and it vented the furnace. But I had no idea if it was going to look good, so that was a pleasant surprise! It is a really fun process and we love our contractor. Hopefully everything gets done on time and then we can host any summer visitors!
